dickhirsch: 2009/02/04 conversation

vdichev

There are some performance tests, check the ESME blog. It's designed to be Scala-ble (pardon the pun).

vdichev: 2009/02/04 conversation

How is the Scalability of ESME. Is it tested for large user base?

@leoofmars what are the use cases for the collaboration in your company?

dickhirsch: 2009/02/03

Would be great if you post feedback on the Google Code wiki regarding the documentation. You may also want to check out apache esme site http://incubator.apache.org/esme/

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

Thanks. I got worked finally. The problem with my proxy settings in the props. Thanks for your help. I will post the feedback.

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

After creating the props file wity my name. I am getting the error The requested resource (/esme/user_mgt/login) is not available.

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

Then the name of property file must be your name

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

It is running under my user-id

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

@look at the tomcat processes in your task manager. Which user is displayed as the process owner?

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

coming in a sec

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

@velu - is the file in the right directory?webapps\esme\WEB-INF\classes\props"

Are we having a scrum today?

I am using Windows. I have created propery file named 'SYSTEM.props' and maintain the values. Still getting the message "INFO: Proxy settings: [no host]:[no port]"

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

That is because esme isn't finding your property file. What OS are you using? Windows?

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

vdichev

yeah, I got that too, it occurs only when you "restart" the action though (when you uncheck and check it).

vdichev: 2009/01/29 conversation

I am getting the following info in TOMCAT 'INFO: Proxy settings: [no host]:[no port]", But I have maintained http.proxyHost=<value> http.proxyPort=<value>

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

I do not have System.props. Do i need to create one and maintain proxy settings

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

@velu : try System.props. ESME uses the user who is running the Thread as the name of the property file

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

I have dpp.pros file, which has only 'use_local_psql=true '. Do i need to maintain the proxy settings here

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

Which property file to be named correctly?

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

@velu : make sure that the Property file is named correctly.
