@dickhirsch The UI in the current Apache build is nowhere near ready for public consumption - it is not yet fully working. We are iterating... Until then, the best thing is to check out the code from SVN and try it locally with a "mvn jetty:run"

Just got really rough draft version of jQuery-based client-side update of Comet messages working! Needs a lot of refinement, but the basic technique is there.

@vdichev What Dick says - the new version of ESME (adapting to the breaking changes) is over at Apache - you need to merge into that source tree.

Yes - Mrinal's code built fine last week, but the same code does not build this week. Some of it is to do with DispatchPF, but there is also stuff around LiftRules.SessionDispatcher & the REST API. I need to solve what I can, and ask the Lift group about the rest.

@yojibee The COIL version of ESME is down at the moment because of a broken build of esme.war. I'm working on it - slowly...

Patched UserActor.scala so that it works with Scala 2.7.2, by renaming UserActor's mailbox var &refs to _mailbox, avoiding val/var conflict with Actor.mailbox. Will commit patch tomorrow.
