@dpp : well, while that sounds nasty, it's still not clear to me why the tags and the message would be one and the same. you're implying a blob-architecture here. why isn't message (content) in one bucket, and tags in another (all nice and RESTful, via a clean URI design)? If that were the case, then all that stuff you mention wouldn't be needed to add a tag -- you could add one, add a link (URI) to the exisiting message, and be done...

@dpp : I grok that. But that suggests that tags and messages are monolithic. If they were not, then adding tags (not changing content) would just be adding alink, wouldn't it?

Interesting. Behaviour of the web interface with Safari on a PPC Mac seemed buggy. Lost updates, cancelled HHTP GETs - that sort of thing. AIR client works better.
