@velu : We are using the Amazon cloud to perform load tests http://developer.stax.net/profiles/blogs/load-testing-on-stax

dickhirsch: 2009/02/04 conversation

vdichev

There are some performance tests, check the ESME blog. It's designed to be Scala-ble (pardon the pun).

vdichev: 2009/02/04 conversation

How is the Scalability of ESME. Is it tested for large user base?

velu: 2009/02/04 conversation

I can't make it, but the conf call room is free.

Would be great if you post feedback on the Google Code wiki regarding the documentation. You may also want to check out apache esme site http://incubator.apache.org/esme/

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

Thanks. I got worked finally. The problem with my proxy settings in the props. Thanks for your help. I will post the feedback.

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

@velu - is the file in the right directory?webapps\esme\WEB-INF\classes\props"

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

I am using Windows. I have created propery file named 'SYSTEM.props' and maintain the values. Still getting the message "INFO: Proxy settings: [no host]:[no port]"

velu: 2009/01/29 conversation

dickhirsch

That is because esme isn't finding your property file. What OS are you using? Windows?

dickhirsch: 2009/01/29 conversation

vdichev

yeah, I got that too, it occurs only when you "restart" the action though (when you uncheck and check it).

vdichev

@rhirsch Won't send to the "old" esme (esme.us) because of a bug in the stateless send_msg API call.

Is there going to a second "late" scrum call?

Except, of course, that today's call is actually in 90 minutes time...

dhague: 2009/01/06 conversation

dhague

OK, line is now clear for ESME scrum!

dhague: 2009/01/06

dpp

No. It's pretty much a work in progress. :-(

dpp: 2009/01/05 conversation

dhague

@dickhirsch The UI in the current Apache build is nowhere near ready for public consumption - it is not yet fully working. We are iterating... Until then, the best thing is to check out the code from SVN and try it locally with a "mvn jetty:run"

dhague: 2009/01/05 conversation

dickhirsch

@dpp : is there a public server with the new apache UI?

dickhirsch: 2009/01/05 conversation

dpp

Very kewl

dpp: 2009/01/05 conversation

dhague

Just got really rough draft version of jQuery-based client-side update of Comet messages working! Needs a lot of refinement, but the basic technique is there.
